1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the Unity Plus website,
platform, applications, tools, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By
visiting unityplus.ca, requesting a demo, creating an account, using the platform, or
otherwise accessing the Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, community group, venue, religious
institution, non-profit, business, or other entity, you represent that you have
authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case, "you" and "your"
include both you and the organization.
2. About Unity Plus
Unity Plus provides a community engagement platform designed to help organizations plan
events, manage venue and service bookings, collect donations or payments, manage
contacts, communicate with donors and attendees, and review operational insights.
The website content, demos, and product descriptions are provided for informational
purposes. Specific features may vary by plan, configuration, region, integration, or
implementation.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least the age of majority in your province, territory, state, or country
of residence, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to use the Services.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity
under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to promptly
update it if it changes.
Unity Plus may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account has been
compromised, used unlawfully, or used in violation of these Terms.
4. Customer Data and Community Records
Organizations using Unity Plus may upload, submit, or manage information about their
members, donors, attendees, volunteers, staff, service providers, venues, bookings,
communications, payments, and campaigns ("Customer Data").
As between you and Unity Plus, you retain ownership of Customer Data. You grant Unity
Plus a limited licence to host, process, transmit, display, and use Customer Data as
needed to provide, secure, support, improve, and maintain the Services.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights, permissions, consents, and
notices required to collect and use Customer Data through the Services.
5. Donations, Payments, Bookings, and Campaigns
The Services may help organizations create donation campaigns, accept payments, manage
collections, issue booking requests, or track payment records. Unity Plus is a
technology platform and is not responsible for the underlying event, venue, service,
donation purpose, tax treatment, charitable status, or fulfilment of an organization's
commitments.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Your use of payment features
may be subject to the payment provider's terms, fees, risk reviews, chargeback rules,
refunds, settlement timing, and compliance requirements.
Unless Unity Plus expressly states otherwise in a separate written agreement, refunds,
cancellations, booking changes, donation receipts, tax receipts, and event policies are
the responsibility of the organization using the platform.
6. Communications and Broadcasts
The Services may allow organizations to send email, SMS, push, in-app, or other
communications to contacts, donors, members, attendees, or community participants. You
are responsible for ensuring that your communications comply with applicable laws,
including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), privacy laws, telecommunications rules,
and consent requirements.
You agree not to send unsolicited, misleading, unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, or
harmful messages through the Services.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- violate any law, regulation, court order, or third-party right;
- collect, upload, or process personal information without appropriate authority, notice, or consent;
- send spam, phishing messages, malware, fraudulent campaigns, or misleading donation requests;

8. Website Content and Intellectual Property
The Services, website, software, design, text, graphics, logos, product names,

protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, sell, lease, sublicense, or create

If Unity Plus offers paid plans, implementation services, usage-based fees,
subscriptions, or add-ons, pricing and payment terms will be provided in an order form,
invoice, online checkout, or separate written agreement.
Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for

11. Service Availability and Changes
Unity Plus aims to provide reliable Services but does not guarantee that the Services

availability.
Unity Plus may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit any part of the Services,
including features, integrations, or content, at any time. Where practical, we will
provide notice of material changes that affect active customers.
12. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent
permitted by law, Unity Plus disclaims all warranties, representations, and conditions,

professional advice. You should obtain appropriate professional advice for your
organization and activities.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unity Plus and its directors, officers,
employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for
indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for
lost profits, lost revenue, lost donations, lost data, business interruption,
reputational harm, or loss of goodwill.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unity Plus's total liability for all claims
relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to Unity Plus for the

damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees,
arising from your use of the Services, Customer Data, campaigns, events, communications,
bookings, payments, breach of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. Unity Plus may suspend or terminate access
if you breach these Terms, create risk for the Services or other users, fail to pay
applicable fees, or use the Services unlawfully.
After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to
apply, including intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of
liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions.
